Abstract Mixed Media Watercolors

There is such joy in the exploration of non-objective color and composition. The basic elements of art can be explored without being bound to how an object or image "should" appear. As with my sculptures (in the first floor main showcase), I begin with a simple line or shape and must decide where it will lead. I have incorporated weaving and relief into many of the pieces, as they tend to satisfy the need for more of a three dimensional outcome.
