About Outreach Services
The stated mission of Riverhead Free Library is to "provide the diverse community it serves with access to ideas, information, and a variety of educational, cultural, recreational, and intellectual resources. The Library will do so in an inviting, accessible, and eco-conscious manner."
In keeping with our mission, Outreach Services at Riverhead Free Library aims to ensure that library programs and spaces are truly inclusive for all our patrons, especially our underserved populations. By promoting our library services both on and off-site, our goals are to inform, enrich, preserve and promote community engagement, both independently and collaboratively through partnerships with other community agencies.
