Through performance, narrative and multimedia presentation, Transitions will explore the music of cultures and ethnicities around the world, and how each has contributed to the development and transformation of music style over hundreds ofyears.

Author Jane L. Rosen will be honored at the 2025 Long Island Selection Award event for her book, On Fire Island.  The event will take place at the Bay Shore-Brightwaters Public Library.  

Island Harvest Food Distribution for Seniors (60 & Older) and Veterans (Provided by Operation Hope) will be distributing to Veterans and the Mobile Food Pantry will be open to all community members.
