Event Details

Get some fresh air and stretch your legs on an approximately 2-mile walk. Register to receive the location each week. Some locations may charge a parking fee, for which you will be responsible.

Walking shoes, bug repellent, a water-bottle and a sense of adventure suggested.

We'll meet at 9:45 and start walking at 10:00am

September 7: North Shore Rail Trail (291 NY-25A, Wading River, NY 11792  Bakewicz Farm parking lot)

September 14: Wertheim National Wildlife Refuge Trail, (340 Smith Road, Shirley, NY, 11967)  

September 21: Grumman Loop (Meet at the Isaac Dog Park parking lot, 5789 Middle Country Rd, Wading River, NY 11792) 

September 28: Hallock State Park Preserve (6062 Sound Ave, Riverhead, NY 11901) ($8 parking fee. Free for individuals 62 and older)

October 5: Quogue Wildlife Rescue Center (3 Old Country Rd, Quogue, NY 11959)

October 12: North Shore Rail Trail (291 NY-25A, Wading River, NY 11792, Bakewicz Farm parking lot)

October 19: Cranberry Bog Nature Preserve (3675-3815 Lake Avenue, Riverhead, NY 11901)

October 26: Grumman Loop (Meet at the Isaac Dog Park parking lot, 5789 Middle Country Rd, Wading River, NY 11792)
