1,000 Books Before Kindergarten
1,000 Books Before Kindergarten is a fun way to bond with children ages 0-5 and help them establish early literacy skills. The goal is to read 1,000 books to your little ones before they enter kindergarten, and our program helps you track your reading and earn badges each step of the way.
Get started by choosing some books from our themed book bags or making your own selections. Track your reading on the Beanstack site or app. Visit the library at each 100-book milestone to celebrate and collect a prize! Once you and your child have completed 1,000 books, you will receive your very own 1000 Books Before Kindergarten tote bag and a hardcover book.
