Class Tours

The Youth & Family Services Department is happy to provide tours and visits for Kindergarten-12th grade classes from the Riverhead Central School District.

Local scout groups are also welcome to schedule library tours and visits.

School Visits by Librarians

Children and Teen Librarians visit schools within the Riverhead Central School District for Open Houses, Summer Reading presentations, and other special events. We also visit local Preschools, and are also available for one time visits to other preschools for storytimes or special events.

Support

Teachers are encouraged to work with the librarians in the Youth Services Department to develop class projects or to notify the library of any upcoming assignments. You can use an online form to notify us of any upcoming assignments, and we’re always happy to discuss any upcoming projects or assignments in more detail.
