Program Description

Event Details

A cataract is when your eye’s natural lens becomes cloudy. Proteins in your lens break down and cause things to look blurry, hazy or less colorful.  Dr. Robert Honkanen, Chairman of the Ophthalmology Department at Stony Brook Medicine, will discuss the symptoms, causes, diagnosis, and the latest advances to treat cataracts which can help to keep your vision crystal clear.  There will be time for Q & A.

This program is sponsored by Stony Brook Southampton Hospital and the East End Library Programmers and hosted by Hampton Bays Library.
