Lee McAllister, noted naturalist, photographer and author of the book Hiking Long Island will lead this hike of just over two miles with the option to go further. We'll pass by some of the ponds of Sears Bellows Pond County Park and learn about the unique flora that can be found there. There will be chances to view wildlife and learn about the history of the area. There should be a proliferation of wildflowers at this time of year. Come out and get close to the natural beauty of Long Island!
